Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer

WE ARE HIRING! – FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 incl. overtime @ basic rate x 1.75 (dependent on experience)

Working in a factory and workshop environment, within a team of 9 engineers.

Processing Season: July – September
12-Hour Shifts on a 4 Days On / 1 Day Off, 4 Nights On / 3 Days Off Rotation

Out of Season: October – June
Monday-Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 14:00, Weekends Off

Job Responsibilities:
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, inspection and testing
Respond, diagnose and resolve faults and breakdowns
Installation & commissioning of new equipment

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
Electrical or Mechanical experience in a food manufacturing environment
Completed a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship
Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems & PLC controlled equipment
Experience with conveyors & chain driven equipment
Working both independently and within a team
